It was developed using research from Wildlife Diversity in Global Team Sport Branding and was developed by the Wild League, who aim to leverage the global passion for sports to raise awareness and funding for the preservation of endangered species.

What you will probably most enjoy about the map are its extensive search and filter capabilities. For example, if you love polar bears, you can use the animal filter to find all the teams around the world who use a polar bear as their logo (Winnipeg Sea Bears, Eisbären Berlin, Belye Medveditsy, and HL Anyang).
